It is a nice small blender for individual or personal use. The main use would be making smoothies or other drinks containing fruits and/or vegetables. This blender is 1300W which is more powerful than other blenders I've seen in this same class. It has a rotation of 30000RPM. The blade unit is designed to be screwed onto each cup for blending and removed when your drink has reached the consistency you desire. Blender motor unit is stainless steel as well. Comes with two 27oz cups that have measurement markers on them for amounts less than 27oz's. There are two screw on lids that allow you to immediately start enjoying your smoothie and allow you to take it with you if on the go. Blender is very easy to use. Just simply screw the blade component onto one of the cups after the contents are added. Place the blade portion into motor lining up the tabs and push down on the cup for about 10 second bursts. I used frozen fruit portions you can get at any grocery store. Specifically strawberries, cherries and pineapple. I put too many in initially and the blender stalled on the first two attempts but I attribute that to my ignorance and overfilling the cup. Once I removed about a 1/4 of the contents it worked perfectly. All of the items are dishwasher safe. Top rack only per the booklet you receive with blender. Personally, I hand wash these types of things. One thing that I want to mention that I feel is very important is the blade unit and cleaning it. I included pictures so you can follow what I am explaining. To insure you do not cut or injure yourself there are two tabs on the underside portion of the blade and if you just squeeze them inward with slight pressure and push down at same time the blade will pop right out of the screw on portion. There is also a rubber gasket that is a seal to insure there is no leakage. It's very easily removed and reattached but insure you do this and clean it well before putting it back on or you can end up with mildew or mold growth inside the gasket and if you've ever had that problem then you know you don't want it again. It's a very simple thing to do so it's not difficult to keep the entire unit clean. The whole unit is the perfect size to allow it to be stored in an overhead cabinet so it doesn't take up much space. Overall the blender is great for the purpose it is intended and for blending small portions of other items you may need while cooking. It is not a substitute for a full size kitchen blender. The one thing I found very disappointing was that there was no type of recipe's, suggestions or instructions on how to make smoothies or shakes included with the unit. Most small appliances like this will include a small recipe book of some type. Yes, you can look these things up on line but it's nice to just have a few simple recipes or suggestions included with the appliance. Operationally, the unit is of good quality and construction and I've had no issues with it since purchase.
