Fits perfectlyI am so glad to have found this reasonably priced replacement for the lid of my Vitamix Aspire. The dog enjoyed the old one!It fits perfect - stays on but not too snug. It has a bit of a blue tint which I do not remember on the old one, but it works perfectly.I needed a new lid plug (yep! blended the last one!). For $10, you get a $1 piece of plastic that fits in the lid of the larger Vitamin jars. No technology. But it's needed if you don't want to splatter your smoothies on the walls. It seems like a cheaper plastic than the original version. I saw cheaper versions on Amazon, but the delivery was a few weeks. 3 stars for the practicality.Replaced a damaged lid that had melted in the dishwasher element. Made the whole container whole and new again.Fit is way too tight vs the original one, works but not easy to put in or out. Since the part is not available from the manufacturer it does the minimal job of blocking the hole…It did not fit.
