Have this item for about two years, work very well ，cup is strong , I had been drop so many time , but it is good and strong ， the bottom part not getting hot , I bought ninja year before this item , ninja only can used for one year , this more better.I love itI love smoothies and milkshakes that are so think I have to use a spoon not a straw to consume them. Before buying this blender I had to buy a new blender every 6-12 months because they couldn't handle my thick drinks and would overheat and die.Not only has this blender lasted almost 10 years but the few parts that have gone bad were easy to replace (the joy of a commercial blender is all the parts can be purchased as needed). In 10 years I've only had to replace the rubber ring around the bottom (because I used it so much it started to look gross) and the plastic tightening ring at the bottom because I tightened it too far and it cracked finally after almost 10 years.This blender is so great I bought one for my parents several years ago (their blender is still functioning great as well).My only caution is to make sure you place the blender securely into the base before turning it on. The blender is so fast that if it's not all the way placed into the grooves it can shred the rubber on the bottom which will prevent proper spinning presumably. I did this once but caught my mistake before major damage was done.P.S. For those who say they need to manually stir it. It's likely because you turned it on the high power setting on a thick mixture. This thing is so powerful that if you put it on the high setting for thick items it actually whips them so fast it creates an air pocket around the blades. Try blending on the low setting until you start to see the liquid churning from the top. If you want a finer mixture then you can turn it on high.MargaritasThey were substituted with other motors due to those being out of stock. Not the same value and did not work out with what I already had. I had to send them all back. It took some emails and time and a few phone calls, The company was honorable in the end. It all worked outOnly blenders my bartenders use for hard ice and blended drinks!Love this blender, as much for what it DOESN'T have as for what it does. There are no fancy "Pulse" or "Ice Crush" settings. Just Off, Lo and Hi. It isn't the fanciest blender, but we have been through blender after blender, and this one shows promise of having staying power, as I don't smell "hot motor" with each smoothie or pina colada. My only wish is that it had a glass carafe. I fear the plastic will scratch and discolor over time, but so far so good. (Have owned it for a few months, and use it several times per week.) I turn it on Lo, let it get started, then move to high and go about my business until the smoothie is ready. What else do I need?Muy útil en mi cosinaBlending power is supersonic. So speedy and made my kiwi juice with ice cubes in a seconds. My teenage son was impressed with mom’s new purchase after seeing its blending power. Also easy to clean and sheerness of my expectation.My 4th one i bought just because they are good and lasts tough enviroment.
