After years of use with no problems, my original Cuisinart blender blade assembly melted and locked up. I thought that I would have to replace the entire blender, but found this aftermarket blade assembly. It is identical, fits perfectly, and works just like the original. The blades are also very sharp--I had not realized how dull my old one had gotten. With the new, sharp blades, the blending times are quicker and the blender motor seems not to make as much noise. I highly recommend this!
