These came in a little plastic bag, with the 6 blenders loose inside and ready to go. They’re “sharpened” so they look like pencils, meaning you can use them straight away without having to shape the ends.I like the variety of sizes, so you get some wider and some narrower blenders, each with two ends for use. As you can clean or sharpen/cut them, I’d say they should last a good while. I’ve used them with pencil, colouring pencils and a little charcoal and they work well for all modes, especially perhaps charcoal. The material is as anticipated for a pencil blender as these are made of compressed paper, so they’re quite soft but rigid enough in the body to hold comfortably. You do get some loose fibres but I’ve not found that problematic as you can blow anything loose off the paper without any problems. They do the job well, they’re easy to use and they should last well as you get 6 pieces with dual ends that can be reshaped when dirty, so I’m very pleased.
