Make smoothieI wasn't sure about this product at first. I hemmed and hawed, and thought I wouldn't get much of a blender for under $30. I have to tell you I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did it make an amazing smoothie, crushing ice cubes like they were nothing, but it worked on toast I was turning to bread crumbs. Long story short - I probably needed a new food processor more than I needed a new blender. My food processor couldn't do bread crumbs. As a last resort, and because I was at my wit's end trying to get dinner on the table, I threw the bread chunks into the blender and had bread crumbs in less than 30 seconds. I won't tell you how long I tried to do this with the food processor, but that would be embarrassing. Needless to say, this multi-pro blender saved dinner when I didn't even think that was something you could use a blender for! There are awesome lids on here, and rims so you don't have to drink over the threads - something I really like! I love that you can steam veggies in it, even if I prefer to cook in glass or over the stove. It is something to think about for things like baby food though, or for sneaking veggies into the family meatloaf. If you're just getting this for the smoothie aspect, it's a winner! If you're getting it as a multi-use kitchen tool, it's STILL a winner. 10/10 would buy again, would buy as a gift for someone, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a single-serve style blender.Update: about a few weeks later my mom tried using the base and it worked for her. Not sure why it stopped and then started again. So I added a star but we ended up getting a bigger blender anyway because it crush as well as we wanted it to.*I had high hopes for this blender. It came with all the listed cups and blades; however, today the motor just blow out on me as I was making a banana smoothie! So now I have a lot of pretty cups and tops some till in the bag because I have only had it exactly 2 weeks (it arrived September 20th and broke today October 4th). I had done a lot of research on blenders and because of all the good review I bought this one, bad choice.Pros:* Lots of accessories that come with the blender* Includes everything as picturedCons:* Blender motor broken within 2 weeks*Blender never actually worked quite right to begin with, I had to keep stopping it to shake the stuff around or it would blend it.Conclusion:Would I recommend this not at all, it didn't really blend that well if there was ice in it. It died just 2 weeks after, not even a wear and tear issue. I can't send it back because I threw away the box. So no horrible purchase try a ninja I used to have one and lasted years before it broke and no need to have to shake stuff around to keep the stuff blending.First time I used the blender the plastic near the blade melted and I could smell it. That means melted plastic got in my food. You get what you pay for.It does work though and is very easy to clean by just rinsing it off.I purchased it to replace one that the blade part had cracked. It works great but not all of the cups will connect to process the contents.I ended up putting the new base away and use the old base which all the cupswork in. I prefer it over using the blender.I use this most mornings. While the instructions never mention the use of ice, utilizing a couple of ice cubes hasn't hurt. I do find that the blades are somewhat dulling after repeated use. But, it's cheap enough to repurchase or perhaps look for replacement parts. Cups and blades are easy to clean and very convenient. Works the way that I expected.Easy to use, easy to cleanCups have this little tabs that tend to break easily, so buy an extra set for longevityLovet
