Well, this was a disappointment. I’’ve had my Kitchen Aid blender for about 20 years and the coupling broke for the first time recently. I found a replacement part and was excited to be able to fix it myself (okay…the husband payed a big part in the actual repair…). Rec’d the part and I thought that it seemed too brittle and lightweight to operate the blender. Turns out I was right. It broke apart during its first task, pureeing soft cooked veggies and Iiquid for soup.
