I bought these to expand the capacity of a basic nutribullet blender, which as of mid-2024 was $20 for a 200watt blender that came with one medium cup (with a handle) and one blade assembly base, and one sippy lid thing. This kit has two more medium cups, without handles but with ridges on the outside as well as on the inside, so they're easy to grip anyway. And there's a small cup, about half the volume, which is great for blending up, say, a bit of sauce or a smaller shake. There are three, simple flat lids, which screw on and have no extra grooves or holes or gaskets so there's no risk of dirt accumulating despite washing, as there is with more complex shapes and "bits"-y lids. They seal the contents in tight enough that there's no leaks, so I use them on the cups to bring blended coffee and smoothies to work in my lunchbox or even in my backpack. The original blender base was getting a bit worn out, so I bought this kit partly so i could replace the original whenever it gets too bad. I wasn't expecting it, but the blender base in this kit seems to be sturdier than the original, and the gasket is thicker. The place where the blade connects through the plastic bottom appears to be reinforced somehow, which the original (again, basic model, so maybe that's why) wasn't/isn't.I was hesitant about spending more money on Things but now that I've been using them a few weeks, I am glad I bought them, because they've been so useful for bringing drinks to work.
